The path is a symbol for life. In this view, the way is laid out before you, but up ahead the path twists around a bend so you don’t know where you’re being led. 

The invitation of the drawing is to stop in your tracks. To notice the leaves fluttering to your side, the branches arching above, the light-posts cheerfully guiding you on. To where? I’m not sure. But isn’t it always a little like that? We follow a thread, a circumstance, a hunch, but our future reality remains a mystery.
