Mary Ayling is a visual artist and educator with a passion for empowering peoples creative success and cultivating their artistic awareness. Her approach includes holistic and engaging programming that is centered on exploration, creative risk, and providing a framework of historical and cultural understanding.
In her studio practice she creates sculptures and performances that focus on how language lives in the bodily experience and the shared moments of complexity when we communicate with others.
Ayling received her MFA from the University of Michigan (2015) and her BFA in glass and print media from the Columbus College of Art and Design (2005). She currently lives in Brooklyn and more about her and her work can be found at maryayling.com
